The first four people I got crushes on all turned out to be real, um, not honorable guys; I have several nice christian guys that I like to hang around but we are almost never see each other. I am purposely not liking them because I know it will ruin our friendship. So I am wondering what to do? Should I just not like anyone? For me that isn't very hard because I always see the worst in people and actually think a lot like a guy. But my friends all think I HAVE to like someone! What is a girl to do?! They think I still like the other bad guys because they can't see anything wrong with them. Does anyone else have any advice?

P.S I am thinking of reading "For Young Men Only" think it's a good idea? I can't relate much to "For Young Women Only".

Go ahead and read FYMO! I did and made me go oh I AM normal or oh THAT"S why I do that!!LOL

hmm wow. I've never had a problem with not being able to like a guy, there were just very few guys I ever liked, and It was a bother to like a guy:P I understand guys very well, better than girls at times. oh by the way, how old are you?? no one should ever tell you you have to like a guy! that's dumb. Sorry about the jerks..the two or three guys I liked were jerks to. Guys are great friends and always having crushes complicates life so much. One day you'll find a guy you realize you like and he will be awesome.

As far as trying to not like your good christian guy friends, good choice! It will complicate things. Just don't get mean or too rude about it! I've done that with a few guy friends, told my self I know i would never date them, so allowing a crush or something would just ruin it, and some of those guys are still great friends!

thanks Clare! I'm 15. I'm pretty young to be involved with anyone yet, but I have been and regret it MAJOR regret it. But anyways thanks to God I am still pure and will stay that way! I surrendered my heart to God. He can give it away.

firstly, you do not HAVE to like a guy. and honestly sometimes it's better to not be crushing on someone... TRUST ME :P
ARG it's worse when you feel youre gonna marry the guy and out of the blue he gets engaged, and to make it worse... you were good friends, and didn't wanna ruin the friendship, and it's now ruined anyway because of your feelings...

AHEM. haha. I've liked total jerks too. one didn't reply to my txt for 6 months, and only then cuz he would see me at an event. one, like I said, led me on and then got engaged. one is a total shallow loser, and one was a complete jerk, but has become a better god fearing man, and is now engaged to an awesome girl. haha so one turned out good so far :P

My point is, you're normal, and i also read FYMO. there's nothing wrong with that.
Only like a guy if you feel like God has placed that guy on your heart (make sure it's actually God haha, I fooled myself 2 times with that and my heart got shattered.)

but yes, I agree with everything that's already been said :D
