Welcome!

Well, erm, actually, I'm new here...but welcome to my thread anyways...

Basically, I just wanted to say I'm new, (got the book from my grandma for my birthday, and I actually really liked it =o) and I'm about finished with the book, and....I want to kinda get to know the people on here, and become part of the community.  You know, where people recognize it when I post.  Yeah...so anyways....a few things about me....

I am 13...Just barely.  (since saturday, April 11th, between good friday and easter)

I do not talk with a lot of...abbreviations...like "u" and "r" and stuff like that.  I just normally type like this anyways, so, well, yeah.  I dont have anything against people who talk like that, though.

I aamm christian!  Yes, Im in a really awesome youth group right now.

So...let me think....anything else?  Oh, Im in 7th grade.  Woohoo, I guess...but anyways, the end of the school year is near, so for only a few months (and summer break) longer.

That's about it.    So...........Thanks for welcoming me.  Im actually going to try to stay active on here. thanks for welcoming me.

Well, welcome! I was new here once, too, but you get to 'know' people as you read the posts and stuff. Well, you get to know the ones who are always posting.....
I had to laugh about abbreviations. :D I only occasionally use them, if I'm in a major hurry. Makes it SO much easier to read when you write the whole sentence, not a string of abbreviated words. :)
Oh, and Happy Birthday! I'm 14, turning 15 later on. I was SOOO happy to turn 13, I tell you! :)
I better go!!

God Can.

hey! :]
I agree with both of the other girls. once you start reading and posting, you get to know everybody pretty quick. I have 300+ posts and I've only been a member since last june, haha!

You may as well come quiet.

I agree (as well)
I've only been posting for a few weeks but I know most of the views of the regular people, it really is a great forum but there aren't too many people or topics on it at the moment.

Welcome! I know i was new about december of last year i think and i was really hesitant on my first post, but i quickly got used to it. :) Yes, i do agree that you can quickly get to know the people and their views on this forum, the frequenters at least. Don't hesitate to post any new topics; it's how you get to know people on the forum, or at least one of the ways. :) Anyways, g2g! God bless!

I post once in a while. I think how I feel about things is pretty obvious, though. And it's always good to have new people come it.

Goodness, Locke... I've been here since May of 2008, and you're 15 posts shy of my post count. Some "Once in a while."!
Welcome, Riptide!

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.

OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

Welcome to the forum, Riptide! (sing-songy) Welcome welcome welcome welcome, welcome welcome welcome welcome... yeah done. :P

This is definitely a great place to learn and grow together as followers of Christ and searching individuals. I do post occasionally (only if I feel I actually have something to say) so you may or may not interact with me.

So yes - glad you're here. God bless! :D

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
