I had the same problem! This idiot kept texting me all day every day, and I'd asked him to stop it like three different times, but he wouldn't, so I had another guy tell him to buzz off! Scared the heck outta him and he hasn't texted me since!

I try to type exactly how i talk, although I say "haha" a lot more in texts just to get a lighthearted tone out of it. I use smileys most of the time that I'm joking, but use them unnecessarily often when flirting. Some people overuse the crap out of them, but if you've been talking to someone and they suddenly start using completely unnecessary smileys they're probably flirting.

wow i spell some stuff out well some what but my hick accent gets in the way i dont say "am not" its aint lol aint to good at proper english :P but i use smiles when somethin is funny or if they said somethin that made me smile otherwise i dont use the crap outa them :)'s like Alex said.
