Hey Y'all! I just finished off an amazing time working at a Bible camp this summer and wanted to reintroduce myself, :) and say some of my highlights! Hopefully they'll be an encouragement to you!! 1) God REALLY answers prayers! I know everyone says He does, but I got like minute-later answers to prayers, and that was SO encouraging! 2)Spending time with God is So Much Fun! During Sr. High camp, when I was a camper, we had an hour a day of "God Time". Time for just you and God. That was so amazing. I learned so much. 3) Spending time with God really helps me get through my day. When I was counseling or helping in the kitchen, praying or reading my Bible was an awesome encouragement! 4) God places SO MANY wonderful people in your life! I now have so many awesome, godly friends who challenge and encourage me in my faith, and who I can have many laughs with! I now have a new Brother and Sister, who are so fun to hang out with and have deep talks with and share experiences with. (my "brother" is 6 months younger than me, my "sister" is 3 years younger than me, but we all get along so well, and my sister is so mature, she just fits right in.) 5) God sends encouragement right when you need it. There's a thing at camp called the "e-board". You right encouragement notes and post them there for the person to pick up. During my first week of counseling,I had a really tough cabin, and on the day I went into the bathroom and sobbed 3 times, I got like 4 notes, that totally came at the right time! I was so grateful for those rays of sunshine! 6) There is so much more, and if you REALLY REALLY want to know, just e-mail me! It's on my profile page. It's called Cooperstown Bible Camp, in the middle of ND.
