| been thinking about this for awhile...how do guys feel when they go buy a bunch of flowers and they walk out of the store and everyone sees you walking there with the flowers. would you rather have the clerk put them in a BIG box to hide the fact? or would you just like to hide them behind you? Does it make you feel like a man if you walk across the parking lot with flowers, for you girlfriend? or would you rather wish it was dark and no one would see you?
yesterday when i went shopping i seen a guy with flowers and i wondered how he felt about it...i still wonder how guys feeel about it! |

| I obviously can't say how guys feel about it, but I think it's awesome when they do buy them!!! It's usually me and my female friends buying flowers for each other "just because" (there absolutely doesn't have to be any reason to give someone else flowers!!!! =) but whenever I see a guy walking by with a big (or small) bouquet I always think it's great =D |

Interesting question. The typical guy in me says "s'cuse me ma'am, would you have a black garbage bag handy that I could have?" simply because it makes any man look "weak" or "soft," and guys don't like to let down their guard. The loving man in me says "heh, I may look like a fruitcake, but I love my baby, and I'm gettin' 'em for her, so if someone thinks I look stupid, well, they're just jealous and they can suck it up.  I've spent a few dollars on flowers over the years...it helps that my friend and neighbor works at one of the local flower shops.  She helped me get a dozen arranged roses delivered anonymously one time. What's most embarrassing about carting around flowers is all the knowing looks, grins, juicy comments, etc. from the peanut gallery. One time I walked into our li'l private high school with a ton of chocolate, and a hand-picked, arranged bouquet of flowers I picked at home before school in a vase for one of my "li'l sisters" on her birthday. I felt like a fool, but I didn't care. |

| us guys usually dont mind getting flowers for someone if we like them. if its for a reson that we do feel ashamed or embarresed or silly about usually we will put them in a bag or something but for me personlly i dont care if im carrying around flowers. even when shopping with my mom i dont mind getting flowers. might change from guy to guy but i dont mind. if a girl i liked asked for flowers id go right ahead and get them. no shame. its just like buying another item from the gift shop. |

| Well...the only time I bought flowers, I had them delivered to the girl at school. I found the smart way out I guess. But, I mean, carrying em around wouldn't have been too bad...but kinda like Grant...my friends, who are all a bunch of smart alecks, would've given me a hard time. |

| For me, I get funny looks from people I don't know when I'm purchasing flowers(and i don't put em in a box) but it's worth it when you see the look on that special someone's face when she receives 'em. Unless she takes it the wrong way, then it's a bad day. |

Who cares if people look at you funny!!!! I would feel so special if a guy walked around with flowers just for me, while dogeing all the funny looks and stares.
Oh i would kill for a guy who would do that for me... so far i have not meet a chivalrious young man. hahaha

| well ive done it a few times. the first time, it was nerve wracking and i felt stupid. after awhile, whenever i get something for a girl, i dont care what everyone thinks of me. now ill gladly do anything for a girl just to make her day, whether its holding a door open, making her laugh or just put a smile on her face. |
