ive always wondered wat exactly is vain?is it knowing your pretty or u hav a nice body or nice hair etc.?or is is knowing this stuff n thinking it makes you bettr then other ppl? wat do yall think? |

I think being vain is seeing yourself as good looking and making a big deal out of it. It's being proud because you think you are more attractive than everyone else.
Knowing you're pretty or whatever isn't a bad thing, it's good to feel good about how you look but you should be humble about it.  |

| I have been wondering about this too. My problem is, I am the only Chinese gal in my "normal" group of friends, and I keep getting attention (about what I look like) that I don't want... but at the same time, I kind of like it. I can do a full face of makeup in 10-15 minutes, and I don't usually do much to my hair. So I'm not sure what the deal is. I kind of get embarrassed by the attention, especially if one of the other girls compliments me in front of a guy... :/ |

| Vanity is one of the sillier sins in my opinion. It tries to make something out of nothing. Sure, it could manifest in an overt concern with outward appearance, but it's much deeper than that. "All flash and no substance" would be a good summary. |

I know my 19 yr old bro has at least like 10 pairs of shoes, maybe more?

it normally takes me an hour in the morning. But recently, i just started to only put just foundation on my face(no one can see me with out it or i will die). it takes less time to get ready in the morning. but i still cant give up flat-ironing my hair everyday. its becoming a bad habit.
i dont want to become vain, although it looks as if im starting to head down that path. lol

I was halfway teasing about the half-hour thing!
Side note, you should probably put powder on top so your foundation doesn't get on anybody's shirt when you hug them I heard a story about when that happened to someone |

haha yeah... idk in NZ we have this thing called thin lizzy... its AMAZING! so i use that as everything (6 in 1) and the mineral foundation as well... and the concealer... and then i use covergirl exact eyelights stuff... this is when i put in the effort to look halfway decent... haha.
My hair, I maybe sometimes use my giant curling tong to straighten my hair but give it that flick at the bottom, or straighten it normally, or curl it... but those things only really happen when my hair naturally looks like a tumbleweed. haha |

| i use concealer than a mineral loose powder that i looove! i do use some shimmer powder sometimes. LOL Has any "girl" heard of Sheer Cover? i really want to get it sometime... |

| CoverGirl masscara, Maybeline eye liner, Mary Kay eyeshadow, i have very sensitive eyes, so those are what i found that dont bother them. Maybeline mineral foundation and blush. my mom liked Avon, but the lady my mom would get stuff from, stopped selling. |
