| Why do some tv shows show that sex is normal in a non married relatiobship constantly throughout their shows? They act as if its no different to kissing. Why do they show this? |

I actually had a similar convo with my family this week haha
you know the show two and a half men... gosh, it's on in family viewing time! how base is that? where's the respect for it gone... and it makes people think you can do it all the time and it has no effect on you, whereas... it does, and you do end up emotionally attatched or... emotionally scarred... especially if it's multiple times.
I heard one guy say that you get so used to it that it becomes almost nothing... and that, is really sad!!!
i guess it's the way the world's going... and it's quite sick... it's harder to bring kids up right when they're subjected to a twisted view of it from an early age. i guess it means you (when you're a parent) have to man up and have the convo with them from early on and explain the truth to them about it, and what's right and what's wrong and the consequences, good or bad, for both? idk. hope God gives me wisdom for when I have kids... |

| Well it does cause emotional, spiritual and especially phsycological damage and has the threat of stds as well as getting her pregnant. And people don't care. I think its ridiculous and im completely against it. I'm just wondering why they show that stuff. |

| I think it's so sad that Christian tv hasn't tried to put out positive alternatives... kinda like disney channel, but a christian version, or other older programs that aren't base... i think it's something that the christian media should look at... not just movies, but like soapies (as an example) with Christian morals etc. you know, stuff you would normally watch but not have to worry about the sex, drugs etc... |

Drake, It's all about the shareholders, the highest profit margins, and the highest views for the least cost, so simply It's what people want to see.

| and i think the media needs more christians to be positive influences in the normal media... like I know that people have issues with the Jo Bro's, but, at least they take a stand on purity etc etc etc and stand up for being Christians. |

i know right! I mean, i always say to people "if I can do it, anyone can" but in all reality, if I think back... who knows where I'd be if I'd continued down my rebellious path in my early teens... only God was able to turn me back before anything major, and God's got me through everything, so it's not really me at all  |

it's end times!! and the hippie movement. The 60's were all about 'doing what feels good now' and 'you can do it if you want to' and all about 'peace and love' and I don't think society ever recovered. It sells. People see all the guilt free consequence free sex on tv and temporarily makes them believe that is how it is for them. they act on what they see and the more guilty they feel the more they try to cover it by copying what they see on tv since, after all, it looks so fun and easy and they are always happy on there!
we're living in a sick sick world where Satan is using human's God given desires against ourselves and it's not going to get any better till Jesus returns. Sometimes I wonder how much worse it could get... |
