LOL well, someone gave me the idea for this...
Do you girls go on dates/have father-daughter dances with your dads?
I donno bout you, but I have since like forever :P
What are some of your thoughts or whatever?

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Yea, I'm here with Faith. I would totally love to go on dates with my dad, but anytime we do do something together (like I agree to go with him to some "event" for State Reps) we normally listen to the radio in the car and talk about "how was school" and "don't you think the GPS is awsome" I mean, I love my dad to death and all, but we just don't really talk....The deepest convo I've had with him is when I told him that I liked my now-boyfriend and it was a quick, nervous 7-minute convo....so yea....In my heart I'm still his little girl but he's busy and idk we don't really talk much.....

I don't want to just "live" I want to experience life.

LOL well, like me, Dad and I have alwyas been close... More so since mum died, so maybe that's why dad and i get on... idk, like we sometimes go on daddy daughter dates and I have lots of hospital checkup's in aux (6 hrs away) so we always go on those trips together and we talk about everything... except maybe guys I like. I think this guy that I like atm is the only guy I've really told him about, and that was a little akward :P I didn't know how to bring it up... So I kinda backed into it by asking about him and mum lol.
But now dad talks about him 24/7 mostly teasing me about it... that can get annoying, cuz he does it whenever he feels like ti, even if it's an akward time to bring it up lol. but it's o.k. as long as he don't tell the guy :P
Dad jokes and says when he meets him he's gonna say "So... When are you proposing to my daughter..." I was like "Dad, I'll kill you if you say that!!!!"
LOL

haha, well I have an awesome relationship with my dad, but it's not like we talk all the time about everything and anything. I still kiss him on the cheek goodnight and if I'm up when he leaves for work. we joke around but our personalities are very different (similar in some ways, too) so if I start guffawing about something, he'll only be chuckling. my mom and I seem closer, but it's only because we have similar personalities (though very different in some ways) and are both chattering women, haha. if I'm out and about with my dad, for whatever reason, and we stop for dinner, it's basically the same as you other girls. just small talk, not extremely deep. sometimes we'll talk about Biblical stuff though, so that's cool. he has alot of good opinions and I value them greatly. and that's really it! I love him very, very much. he's my papa. :]

(I like the word guffaw... but I've never found opportunity to use it.)

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.

OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.
