Well Bree,

that is a hard one. I would start off by just praying and asking God to give you wisdom in that siduation. If you pray from your heart He will send you an answer.

Go in Grace and Peace

Just say you have mood swings and tell him that it's just natural.

Well, I'm a guy, and have no clue what you're talking about... so yeah... maybe it's in FYMO- after reading it, I'll probably be better able to tell you.

HAHA yes... mood swings... I hate them!!! My brother and dad think im just angus... but its those stupid mood swings!! I try to keep them under wraps, but it doesnt really work...I can't really explain it either... it's due to stupid hormones that make girls moods change... like ill be really happy, then ill burst out crying... so yeah... and mostly it wont have anything to do with what's happening around me.

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Wow... I must have some pretty stable friends... I don't think I've ever had one of my gal friends do that... I mean, maybe once or twice... but I don't remember that ever happening really.

This is an interesting question, the internal struggle girls have that makes no sense to guys, even married ones. And all the emotional stuff.... I am no expert, but here is my advice

My guess is that most of you are in high school, so hormonal, reproductive health issues (to keep it PG rated) are normal but you are still learning to handle them. And trust me, once you have learned to master it a bit God throw pregnancy, babies, sleeplessness, and other things at you to keep it interesting and constantly a struggle.

One way of explaining it to guys (if it isn't awkward) is to liken it to their own struggles. In high school, guys struggle constantly with purity! It is an hourly problem at best! Guys should be able to understand having uncontrollable hormonal issues at times, because we have them too, but in a different way. In addition, this struggle is a reminder that you have one of the greatest gifts on earth - the ability to bring new life into the world! How amazing!

Some good advice for all you girls, try not to make any major decisions or take any major actions when you are moody. Also, try to not put yourself in situations where you might snap or make a rash decision. This is all a part of self-mastery, knowing yourself and your God-given limitations. Lastly, understand that crying is completely paralyzing to most guys (even after high school). We don't know what to do and feel a bit helpless, because we see a problem and want to fix it, but can't. It took many years (and mistakes) for me to realize that crying for girls is a natural, healthy way for you to deal with stress/problems/hardship/emotions/etc. So let your guy friends in and let them know that there isn't anything to worry about; it's natural.
