OK ladies, I need your help because I'm old and out of the loop!

I see these "skinny jeans" everywhere I go... my niece wears them so skinny they look like someone painted them on her legs.

Can I still wear my comfy boot-cut jeans and look cool, or has that ship totally sailed?

Please help the fashion-challenged...

I'm not a lady, but, I guess because of that I'd care about as much about what they wore...

From my experience (which, since I'm homeschooled means what a guy would think looks good, not necessarily what's cool) "skinny jeans" only look good on skinny people (go figure) once you get beyond the skinny side of average, they start to look about as off-sized as baggy jeans... which on girls is just kinda gross- I guess partially because it implies you used to fit them. So yeah, I'm not much for one modern style- it seems to me that most people have a more individual style that looks best (and many, by trying to fit one that's not theirs, look bad.)

To return a volley, what are girl's opinion on what cut jeans look better on guys- tight, regular or baggy?

Girls should only wear the jeans that fit them, and I agree with wjr, only skinny girls should wear skinny jeans =] I would say any jeans is OK, as long as it's not super baggy or superrr tight. (Both are a turn off, just get jeans that fit) I like skinny jeans though, there the new trend ;) And I like love guys in skinny jeans!!! They always make me smile.... I guess cause it ties in with the whole rocker punk thing, which I love on guys, and I dress like that too. But it comes down to preferance. (But please, if anything remember this, guys with super baggy gansta jeans that go down to the kness...... AVOID THAT!!!) =]

O.K.
Honestly, it depends on what look you're going for...
For guys, I tend to like the gangsta look... not really gangsta, but like baggy jeans and hoodies. If you have too much bling, its weird, cuz guys and jewelery (too much jewelery) is weird.
I agree, however, that super baggy jeans that show you're boxers is tacky.
My brother wears moderately baggy jeans that stay on his waist and sometimes they're full length, and sometimes they're 3/4's. p.s., NEVER get a grill, its weird!!

With older girls, honestly, whatever you feel comfortable in. I dont exactly follow fashions. I own one pair of skinny jeans (p.s. if you get skinny's, dont get super tight ones, they're real uncomfortable!!) one pair of boot cuts, one pair of flares and one pair of baggies. I think bootcut jeans are awesome, cuz you can still wear boots with them and feel nice and comfy!!
P.s., my baggies arent SUPER baggy, just a bit more "gangsta" then normal jeans i guess...
Most importantly, If you feel good and feel beautiful in whatever you're wearing, then you will look fashionable no matter what.

Ya. I think personally that guys in skinny or baggy jeans look really bad. Just go regular. But of course that is just a personal opinion. Hope that helps wjr.

Personally I can't stand guys in skinny jeans, something about it is just totally off and whacked, but that is just me. I tend to like guys with the more baggy look, but definitely do not be flashing your boxers. :)

Ah... I see. I think I'll stick to my attempt to be cool like Eric Clapton, David Crowder and my sister's boyfriend, and so forth... that kind of cut/image :-) good old regular cut...

yeah you can still wear your regular jeans and look cool, i personally think the skinny jeans go out of style when you hit colege! but thats just my opinion! i mean if my mom pput a pair of skinny jeans then aske dme if they looked good on her, i would just point to the stairs and tell her she looks much prettier with regular jeans, then she would ask my dad, and the sweetheart that he is will very nicely tell her that yes i am ritgth! have you ever seen the tv show what no to wear on tlc its really good u choudl watch it!

Ok it's settled then - I can still wear my "regular jeans."

My niece can keep wearing her skulls, skinny jeans, and mismatched freaky socks!

Thanks, guys.

I'd say boot cut jeans are still stylish and classy and I think younger (no offense!!!!!!!!!!!!) girls look better in them. So I'd say keep the boot cuts. And 4 the guy who asked what kind of jeans on guys are cool, heres my take: i'd say regular or slightly baggy ,but no boxers showing we really dont need to see those and they're not hot looking so yeah (-: lol
