Just another pointless fact... I have a little brother that's 6 months old and I've had 5 various people (in Walmart, doctor's waiting room, church dinner etc.) think I'm his mom. Yeah- it's a little embarrassing. :\

and for Abi xD a freshmen is 9th grade and sophomore is 10th grade, lol, it's wired i know, but that's America for you!! lol |

in NZ we don't have "freshman, Juniors, sophomores or seniors" (I know they're not in the correct order  )
We have Elementary school (Year 1 and 2, Standard 1, 2, 3, 4) then intermediate (Form 1 and 2) and then highschool (Form 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.) you finish your last year of school when you're either 17 or 18 (unless you were held back...)
and our school year starts in february and ends in december. they have 4 "10 week" terms with 2 weeks holidays between each "term"
well when I was in school that's what it was called...
The years now are just called "Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...11, 12, 13"
you start school when you're 5.
(though South Africa is different... they have 12 years, i think, and you start school the year you turn 7. and the last year is called matric) |
