OK, my brother and I have this silly debate about purity rings: Do they go on the right or left hand? I wear mine on my left middle finger, because my parents bought me the wrong size and it doesn't fit on my ring finger. My brother wears his on his right middle finger.
What is the majority? Left or Right?
Give me some good answers please, I bet him a dozen cookies I was right.  |

| Haha I don't have a purity ring, but I would agree to put it on your left ring finger because your putting it where your engagement ring would be. I have a ring that has Bible verses on it and I put it on my left ring finger. |

I wear mine on my right pinkie finger.LOL its just a little too small for my ring finger. ya some people might mistake you as being engaged, but that depends on the style of ring. Oh well if a guy thinks you're engaged. If he's that serious he will find out if you are or not.
Waiting physically can be hard but emotionally can be harder. Anyone else struggle with that??? I;m not talking about crushes that are gone in a week. I've liked this guy for a year!!!!! |

haha. ;p I have to run that race every day and most of the time it feels like going 3 steps forwards and 2 steps back, y'know?
@Scifi - someone at my church (no idea whom, but it was circulated) thought that my boyfriend and I were engaged a couple months back, and it was probably due to my purity ring being on my ring finger. but I quickly bit that rumor in the bud before it could grow anymore. no biggie! like Clare said, if somebody's really THAT interested in your relationship status, they'll have the courage to ask (to your face). I've found my ring to be a great witnessing tool, actually! |

back when I was younger, i liked a guy for 9 years... that was a waste of 9 years of my life lol.
but at this moment, I like this guy, have for a year and a few months now... but i'm not exactly sure if I should wait a little longer incase something happens, or just giv up and just be friends... It's really confusing because it's been the first time in my life where I've felt like a guy could be the guy I wanna marry haha but we'll see... ATM we're just friends... so yeah... but I do have my down days where I'm like "GOD PLEASE MAKE HIM HURRY UP!!!!" lol not that I'd want someone to like me without choosing to ok i'll stop now |

Hahaha maybe some people, but def. not me! about 5 people this last year have thought I'm 13....I'm 17. According to how old i look I won't be getting married soon.
I'm not going to even start on emotional purity. I don't have enough time. |

| I don't have a "purity ring" but I used to wear this silver ring on my left hand ring finger that looks like two very thin bands stuck together, and a lot of people asked if I was married (not guys, older people without much else to ask about). Now I just have these three rings that I wear all the time, and it works out that the one on my left hand doesn't look like a wedding band at all =] |

| Oh and this guy is almost 23, and I'm 19 and look like I'm 15 or 16. So when he took me to his youth group the rumor got out he is hooking up with a 15 year old. I couldn't stop laughing! |

A purity ring is supposed to go on your left ring finger because that is where your wedding ring will go when you get married. It's a symbol of your commitment to God that you will remain pure in all ways, sexually, mentally, etc.
