Ok so I want to start this out by saying that I love my sister dearly, she is my BEST friend, I can go to her with any problem and she always helps me out. I dont know what I would do if anything ever happened to her. But there is a bit of a problem, not on her part, on mine. I kinda have a problem being jealous of others. I try to work on it and tell myself that God loves me the way that I am but the jealousy feeling still come. SO my sister is amazing. She is pretty, skinny, an amazing gymnast, and an amazing person. She gets texts every other day from a guy, she doesnt even kow asking her if she will go out with them, and its totally not even a big deal to her! I would be bouncing off the walls if a guy texted me asking that! (which is another problem I have but we wont get into that right now:D)  And ever since I was about 10 I have been comparing myself to her. And whenever I do I get in a bad mood or I feel like crap. Then I just end up getting mad at her! I know its not her fault, and my mom has told me before that it hurts her (my sisters) feelings when I do that. But I cant help it! Please help me. Give me a verse I can say or something! I hate this feeling! And dont get me wrong, I am totally grateful for the family, friends, and personality God gave me. I am a people person, I can talk to a perfect stranger and not have it be awkward. So yeah, please help:| Thanks!

As cliche as it sounds, just let go. People are who they are. I try to interact with others with "blinders on." As much as I can, I try to see people for who they are. I don't pass judgement, even if they do something which is a really bad idea. I'll tell them it's a bad idea and leave it at that. And I'm getting off topic! So, what are you good at? You've told me what makes your sister amazing, what makes you amazing? Whatever your strengths are, play to them.
Hope that helps and sorry if it came across as "preachy. " :)

One step at time,
I trust these feet of mine,
To carry me on to where I belong.

talk to her. You said you're really close, try telling her what's going on instead of just getting mad at her. I'm sure she can remind you of some bad qualities she has. Also try praying when you feel like that. Take a walk or excercize to burn away the frustrasion or go and do something you love to do. Take a bubble bath, unbury the scrapbook, read a funny book (dancing in red shoes will kill you, the name of this book is secret, how my journal became a bestseller, girl 16 absolute torture, are some), read your bible, or talk with a friend. Focus on the good in you instead of the good in her. Remember "God made you special and he loves you verry much!"

Jesus has a thing for losers.

Here are some verses: Psalms 63:7-8,10 "On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before HIm; God is a refuge for us...Do not trust in oppression and do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.

" Wake up oh my soul
wake up and praise the Lord
rise up you sleepy soul
rise up and praise the Lord"

Thank you guys soo much! The advice helped alot and you have given me some good ideas for what to do when I feel this way. And Nate, I have actually memorized that very passage before for other reasons but I had never thought of using it for this one! Thanks!
