| Hey no prob - I mean, I think us girls sometimes forget that guys are insecure too. Like, in junior high I felt like a total DORK...but you know what? My amazing, blond hair, blue-eyed boyfriend who was at the TOP of the social ladder, fell in love with me when I had braces and glasses and wore WAY too many accsesories. His ex was a bleach-blond, skinny, and equally socially ranked Barbie doll. And he picked ME over HER???? yea....maybe you think he's shallow and he's just using me - no, he was my best friend first, and he sits next to me with a PURSE between us in the car, and would never dare to hold my hand. And its been nearly 6 months now that we've been going out. He loves Jesus and if any guy could show "sacrificial love" - its him. Now, my braces have been replaced with straight teeth and I have contacts to replace my glasses...but he didn't choose me when I looked like I had it all-together - he chose me for the girl I was inside first. Somedays I thank him for taking a step down to fall in love with me, and he looks at me and says, "Are you KIDDING me? I definately took a step UP to be with you." And thats amazing. So Olsenkid, no matter how dorky, wierd, awkward, or out-of-place you feel, remember God has SOMEONE out there who is going to love you anyway. If your inside is attractive, the outside will follow! Someone will love you for your love of God, good personality...maybe even your sweet and shy side. And one of these days you'll find yourself blaring Relient K's "Must have done something right" cuz u just can't believe how blessed you are by a girl u never dreamed u could have. |

| Am I out of place to say that I am totally jealous of you right now, MyLifeHisWIll? If I could I would DEFINITELY high five your boyfriend right now. There need to be more guys like him in life. Dude, I'd say you are one BLESSED girl, and from what I hear, it goes both ways. If and when I meet the special guy God has intended for me, I hope he's just as wonderful as your boyfriend. If you get the chance, would you mind thanking him for me, just for being himself? |

Aw I will definately thank him - for both you and ME - I dont tink I thank him enough! Honestly I dont know why God let me have such a great guy - I dont deserve him in teh least - but thank God he did! But, hey - remember the verse below your posts - I guarentee God has a guy just as amazing and more perfect for you! |

| Thanks; by the way, I'm sure your boyfriend is thinking the same thing about you, that he doesn't deserve you [ I've read enough christian romances for my brain to think that way] But what you've told me also reminds me that God loves me, all of His children, and i know i don't deserve His love, though i don't always think it. Thanks again, for the encouragement, sometimes waiting makes the outcome all the more sweeter. |

| Yea he thinks the same way - I printed off this page for him to read and he goes, "BTW YES YOU DO DESERVE ME!" and I laughed. He's a great guy. And I agree with what you said about God loving you when you don't deserve it. God has used my boyfriend so many times to remind me that no matter what He still loves me - all the time, no matter the mistakes, no matter how I mess up, no matter how imperfect I am. And through my boyfriend's sacrifice, God has shown me the SAME thing! He's looked at me and said, "My child, I did that for you too on a MUCH greater scale - dont you see how much I love you?" - and so yea - I love God lol |

| Haha, he sounds like he has a sense of humor. Sometimes i think of God that way, His sense of humor. Yes, i do agree with you in the sense that God loves us SO much He made the ultimate sacrifice. MyLIfeHisWill, i'm really happy for you that you found someone awesome that is so centered in Christ, which is so rare, and who makes you happy in so many ways. I pray that God will continue to bless you and your relationship with your boyfriend. BTW, from one of the other forums i read that you were 15? If that's so, then you are pretty wise for your age (I mean that in a good way). You have my props because when i was your age, (about 3 years ago if you'd like to know) I did not have your maturity in Christ, it came for me 2 years later; so i think it's wonderful that you do. |

Aw thanku Nicole. I was actually really unsure about admitting I was 15....I mean in three years if I heard a 15 year-old say she was "in love" I know I would be very sceptical, so thanku for the compliment, I'm glad I'm not totally insane here. And yes, he does have a sense of humor and I repeat this line to him all the time, "You make me laugh when I don't even want to smile." Because its so so true. Thankyou so much for all the encouraging things you've said to both him and me, I really apreciate it. And know that I'll be praying you'll know God's love on a deeper level and that He will bring that perfect guy into your life

| No problem. Don't be to skeptical, my sister is 15, or will be 16 in April, and she's pretty mature for her age. Now if she were to say she was "in love" with someone then I would be pretty skeptical, but in your case, i think you have a wonderful relationship with your boyfriend (and my admiration for him doubled just cause you mentioned he can make you laugh even when you don't want to) The last thing: MyLifeHisWill, you just made my heart melt. Hehe...aw I'm glad...You know I should have said this before...but I got caught up....but I do need to give credit where credit is due - If it weren't for God I wouldn't have such an amazing guy, and I wouldn't be mature enough (I'm not even sure if i am lol) to handle the guy I was given. So to God, Thankyou, and all Honor and Glory.
And I was acutally in church and was worshipping and God reminded me that I had said I would pray for you - and I don't know about you, but sometimes I'm not the best at coming through with those things - but rite there in church I found God telling me, "You promised to pray for Nicole," and when He told me that, I immediately responded....I mean, it was kinna cool to be praying for someone I didn't even know...all I knew was you needed prayer and it was really ... idk... just inspiring or something....so yea, I went home and wrote a mini-prayer for you in my journal and I'm telling you just so you know that God reminded me and I really AM praying for you.....thank God He reminds us when we fail to fufil our vows...cuz now its like I can't forget! lol....He's a good God... |

Ditto- on praying for you i mean. And i can totally empathize with you about God just poking me on the shoulder and reminding me about something. haha.  But i do think it's cool to be praying for someone you've never really met. |

No. I don't care at all, so long as the guy is nice and sweet. And you seem that, so you don't have to worry about anything...=)
To Q 2:
The guy I like wears colors that match his eyes and it's awesome...And I, too, hate skinny jeans. WAY too girly. I love jeans on guys, just not the ugly Jo-Bro kinds. I like guys in bermuda shorts, too.

I don't have a fav really... but if he seems to make an effort to look presentable (clean clothes, washed hair, etc.) then however he likes to dress is fine with me. Some things I don't like are skinny jeans (just like Adelynn... they ARE creepy!) and sweatpants... it just makes guys look kind of sloppy and careless, in my opinion. Dark washed jeans look sweet, too.  |

| thanx 4 all of ur answers/opinions!! ok, long time since i've been on here but i got a couple more q's!! 1: facial hair... cool, not cool, do girls like it, does it depend on the gal?? 2: maturity level... do girls like it when u act more mature and stuff or (if ur like me) get random really hyper bursts of energy and act , the only word i can think of is crazy... can't wait 2 see ur responses!! |

LOLyay I'm the first to answer the new questions
#1 Facial hair... it depends on the guy...
like some guys look very handsom with facial hair and some look completely hideous...
it would also depend on the girl... I know some who can't stand hairy guys and some who absolutely love hairy guys...
#2 Maturity...
I like a guy who is both mature and crazy... mature in the fact that he's not silly and stupid and has a good head on his shoulders etc (remember I am 20 so I would tend to want a more mature guy...) but... I like being crazy sometimes too... I mean I'm crazy haha. he needs to be able to lighten up a little and be himself

I agree with Jojo on both of her answers (duh, haha)!
for me, personally, I absolutely love clean-cut line beards. and I can't stand mustaches. period. =p
and out-going, laid-back yet intelligent in their own right, guys, are what I'm looking for. |

no wayyyyy - girls like all sorts of guys!!! & 2 girls, appearance really doesnt matter as much as it does 2 guys. like a LOT less. so dont think your ugly or cant get a gf or w.e. b/c of scars n acne -- be yourself! girls like guys who r real =D
